I get a bit of a Kim Wilde vibe on the EP, she even reminds me a bit of Kim sometimes with her look.
About Alenis:
Alenis is a dynamic Sicilian singer and artist hailing from Palermo, Italy. Since 2019, she has been a regular collaborator with synthwave label Retro Reverb Records.

"The Stockholm band A Projection celebrates the 10th anniversary of their debut album EXIT with a collection of remixes by Agent Side Grinder, JE T'AIME, Aux animaux and The Mystic Underground.
This EP contains both hardcore Darkwave and other styles such as clubby Dance and smoky Dub, all with distinct strains of Post Punk!
About A PROJECTION:
The Stockholm based A PROJECTION started in 2013 with the ambition to be a true post punk band. The main influences were groups like The Cure, Joy Division/New Order, Sisters Of Mercy, Interpol and Editors. Electronic acts like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, D.A.F. and The Knife were also important influences for the band.
The A PROJECTION sound has been described as "a danceable mixture of post punk and electronica, with both depth and edge, bright colors and darkness". This description still holds today.

One of the album I have listened to this weekend is the new album "Sinner" from S Y Z Y G Y X, the synth based project of Luna Blanc from Washington, US.
The album is one of last weeks new releases on New Music Friday, out now through COLD TRANSMISSION MUSIC.

The album contains 16 tracks, so lots of entertainment there, begins with "Golden Boy" a bit dark and moody but then the album accelarate track by track and I get an enjoyable feeling of darkness and tightness. Well produced and you really feel the 4 years production time of the album.
If you wanna do it properly that´s the way to go, not B-songs, covercrap like David Guetta that dropping 10 new tracks on a week, no, this is QUALITY!!!
I like the songs that is a bit more uptempo, the electronic dance makes you wanna dance along on the desk. Darksynth and Darkwave with small elements of EBM when it´s the best.
The singles "Climax", "Sylph" and the latest "Stranger" is not the best from the album for me personally but they are for sure on the top tracks of the album. If you are DJ you gonna like "Snake & Poison" and "Uncoerced" due to the typical underground clubsound.
The album makes me happy in a dark way, not many bad songs here, and I enjoyed every minute of the album, definitely worth a place on the best albums lately.
