SWEDISH IDOL vs THE X-FACTOR

Well, this article is about the series of X-FACTOR and IDOL, here in Sweden where i live, the last show of the SWEDISH IDOL runs on TV, on Friday we have the final between ROBIN STJERNBERG and AMANDA FONDELL. The winning song that they gonna perform on Friday is written by another classic idol contestant in DARIN, he wrote it together with ARNTHOR BIRGISSON, Arnthor has also written songs to BRITNEY SPEARS, LEONA LEWIS and SHONTELLE just to mention some.

I think that the winner gonna be Robin, reason is very simple, the version that he have done is more merchantable than Amandas version. If you listen to what people wanna hear today you will understand what i mean.


Swedish Idol runs for the last time 2011, next year it´s gonna be replaced by the X-Factor and in my opinion that´s good. But i know that there are others that don´t agrees.

The X-Factor serie in U.K for an example are also into the finals now, it´s the eight season of the serie and for those that doesn´t know what X-Factor are, here is some information:

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series began airing on ITV on 20 August 2011. Louis Walsh is the only judge from the previous series to return, as the other three, Simon Cowell (the man that came up with X-Factor), Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole, all left to join other shows. Walsh is joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos. Dermot O'Leary presents the show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-present spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2.

The final will last four hours, split over Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December 2011. It will feature the winner's single. It will be held at Wembley Arena.

"WISHING ON A STAR" is a cover version made by the 16 finalist and it went straight in on the number one spot at the U.K saleschart. Originalsong was made by ROSE ROYCE back in 1978.

The winning song on X-Factor this season is written by TAKE THAT singer and judge of X-Factor, GARY BARLOW.

The song is produced by rapper FAZER from N-DUBZ.
