We leave Sweden a short while, and travel to Austria, one of our big friends from Austria is the wellknown producer, THE WHITELINER and this a new name in the Austrian scene of EDM, we talk about Joaquin Phunk and his wingmate of Filipe Hernandez.
Biography:
With nothing but music on his mind, decided to become a professional DJ at the age of 19. Since then he was not only responsible for the music played at one of the venues of one of the most successful club chains in austria but also produced his own music.
He managed to get his first single released by the Label BE52 Records at the early age of 18. Releases in Italy, Russia, GB and the US followed and brought his music into clubs all over the world Since 2007 Joaquin and his partners also release at their own label ELMART/HOUSEART.
Joaquin Phunk played in clubs/events of czech republic, malta, italy and his homecountry austria... keeping the crowd shaking with his very own melodic sound.
With his music supported and pre-supported (unreleased tracks) by Maison & Draigen, Incognet, Inusa Dawuda, Svenstrup & Vendelboe, Tres Amici, Disfunktion, and many more 2012 is on the way...
Our first look on Joaquin and Filipe is their track "NEMESIS", it´s a progressive house track with a smooth and great melody.
