JULIA FREJ vs JJ CALE & BLACKSTREET
We proceed with some pussy drenched urban blues from Julia Frej.
Pressrelease:
The time has come and the time is now right for Julia to walk her determined way amongst smoke-drenched bluesy and heavy laidback beats. Raw and uncut talent meets captivating beauty and a non-compromising attitude. It´s about subtle drama, surrealism and decadence.
Her official debut to the world is her very own personal interpretation of the amazing "Cocaine" originally by JJ Cale. Julia puts her raspy voice over a dirty beat containing the remarkably soulful sample of "Grandma´s Hands" by Bill Withers, used once before in the classic "No Diggity" by Blackstreet.
This is the core of the direction, the vibe and the soul of what makes the artist Julia Frej.
We call it pussy drenched urban blues.
Julia is used to media after several years in the spotlight as a debater, TV-host, a frequent guest on radio and as a model, DJ and live performer. Most recently she hosted the Swedish version of "Ink Master" on national TV channel 6.
You'll also hear her putting vocals to the coming debutsingle from house duo PANG! and their stand-out tune "Sober Up".
