Sunday and MUZIK MAG SWEDEN is online again after yesterday absence. Almost every Saturday I am on DJ-gigs so there are little time to update the site then.
We start up this day with the JUNE MIXTAPE from the Swedish trio of RIVERHOUSE, three crazy and happy guys from Kristianstad/Åhus.
Biography:
The Riverhouse story started in 2011 in the coastal town of Åhus, Sweden. Jakob Klinthage, Alexander Linder and Daniel Rydberg merged and have created one of Swedens most potential DJ and producing collective.
As many other stories this one also starts with a few guys in a garage. Klinthage and Linder started playing with just a computer and a audio mixer standing on a ironing board. They started doing some basic mashups and bootlegs. In the summer of 2011, not long after they started, they got one of their bootlegs played at Pacha Night Club in Ibiza. At the end of the year Riverhouse welcomed their third member, Rydberg, and started producing their own music. 2011 ended with their first release, Topkick. This song was the first of many supported tracks.
