MARKUS ROSEN

The last post of today on MUZIK MAG SWEDEN is a uprising star from Sweden. 

Biography: 

Markus Rosen has in 15 years worked with his music and developed his artistry. The journey started in the showgroup LIFE and there Markus produced his own cabaret in a age of 17. 

LIFE resulted in to Markus became the leadsinger in the Swedish danceband of KAJOX ORCHESTRA and meanwhile his own cabaret toured around Sweden. 

In 2013 Markus released the album "HEARTS" when he was touring around Sweden. The album contains tracks from Markus archive and it was a tribute to love. Markus interpretations on the different songs resulted in a half million listenings on only Spotify. 

2014 has been Markus Roséns year so far. Everything started in May month when Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest final with the track "RISE LIKE A PHOENIX". Markus felt that the song was perfect for him and he determined to do the song in a own interpretation. 2 days later the song went online. 

It was not so clear to record the song though, it was a difficult song and it meant a lot to many people, but after he spoked to Helena Paparizou after a gig she did on Amiralen in Malmoe, he decided to do his own version of the song. 

Over 100 000 likes and shares on Facebook and Youtube later, makes the success a fact. 

Today Markus working with the management of SÖDER ENTERTAINMENT and the journey have now started. This summer of 2014, Markus have been on the same stage like big Swedish names like MAGNUS CARLSSON, MARTIN STENMARCK, CHRISTER SJÖGREN, MOJJE, MARIANNE MÖRK and many more. 

The bookings continues and close at hand, Markus will do the Lucia in Helsingborg with LASSE HOLM and DAVID LINDGREN, just to mention some. 

In November 20 the year will be completed when he will be on the same stage as HELENA PAPARIZOU when he inaugurates the prestigious TRELLEBORGSGALAN in the city of Trelleborg. 

Right now Markus and his team working with the creation of his new upcoming album, we have songs written by TOMMY EKMAN (Freestyle/Style) and ANDREAS JOHANSSON from Roastinghouse, the albumrelease TBA. 

With Markus charisma, voice and goal, you will learn that DREAMS CAN COME TRUE. Or as HELENA PAPARIZOU told him that night on Amiralen: NEVER STOP FIGHTING.
