CHINESE THEATRE

I am a BIG fan of synth, EBM and the classic sounds of the 80s. 

Earlier this week I got a mail on (muzikmagazinet@live.se) from a member of the facebookpage Synth.Nu since I am posting articles about Synth and EBM here and sharing it with the members in that group. 

Krister Petersson is a legend within the Swedish synthcollective, unfortunately Krister past away 2016 but the music lives on, and later 2022 a album with lost songs and demos will be released. 

Biography: 

Chinese Theatre was formed in 2002 when Krister Petersson on his own started remixing other bands. The need to create his own music lead to him contacting and getting help from several friends, writing lyrics and recording vocals. After some collaboration, Martina Ramstedt joined him around 2007. 

Krister left a number of unfinished demo songs intended for Chinese Theatre that were never completed. During 2020, and forward, some of the tracks will be reworked in the spirit of Krister.
