KOTO

Up next is music for the lovers of styles from Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. 

Back in the days, LASERDANCE and KOTO was big favourites to me personally, melodic syntmusic or Italodisco, hi-NRG with lots of emotion. 

Koto have just released a brand new album in "Return Of The Dragon" with the sound we are use to when we talk about Koto and the genre they stand for. 

The album contains 10 new songs and even though we are in 2022 the sound of KOTO never stop surprising me, this is a return to the young days of many Kotolovers, the space and the robotic voices is still one of the headers in the songs and storys, but they have evolved the sound in some songs, we get more vocals than before, even singing, fun but not bad at all, this is so good, I can listen to Koto every day of the week, welcome back KOTO. 

Biography: 

Koto is an Italo disco group that originally consisted of Anfrando Maiola and Stefano Cundari, later with the Dutch composer Michiel van der Kuy (Laserdance). 

In 1989 the German label of ZYX MUSIC bought the rights for Koto, and asked Michiel Van Der Kuy to preserve the sound but in 2001 when they reformed again, Anfrando Maiola got the rights back to them, even though they releasing the album through ZYX. 

Today the band consists of these members: 

Anfrando Maiola (1982–1990, 2001–present), Roberto Bisca (2001–present) and Alex Cundari (2001–present)
