GEWC WEEK 47

We have entered a new week and today/tonights first post is about one of the biggest and most important list for artists in electronic music, I am talking about German Electronic Web Chart or GEWC and top 15 tracks. 

This is a chart I am following strictly every Monday when it is released and I am also one of them voting on top 15 tracks. Once again, Beborn Beton and "American Girls" is on number one spot, closely followed by Gulvöss - "Running With The Light" and on third place this week, we have Sono - Like Glass. Especially Beborn Beton´s song have been on the top now for a while. 

I am also very happy and pleased to see my good friends in Cold Connection going in as newcomers with "Voices Of The Night" on place 8, together with legendary Rue Oberkampf and "I Won´t Surrender" as the highest newcomer on place 4 and a new name for me on place 10 in Encephalon - "Last Day At The Institute" 

I have written about some of the challengers before here on Muzik Mag Sweden, so if you follow and reading my post you will recognize some of them. 

Now my friends, it is time for the challengers or Neuvorstellungen in German. 

Neon Space Men and their amazing cover of one the best DM songs in my personal opinion "Shake The Disease" is one on my favourites among the contenders, out now through the label NSM Records

 

Torul and "Just Go" is one of the latest releases on Infacted Recordings

 

Pneumagnosis is a band from Boston, Massachusetts with "Let The Flowers Fall" feature Cat Hall of Dissonance, a dark electronic industrial, out now through the label Lukotyk Records

 

FrontAngel comes from Wiesbaden, Germany and the sound from her is electronic synthpop with nice melodies, the challenger is "Devil In My Soul" FrontAngel releases her music by herself.

 

Faderhead from Hamburg, Germany and his "Goth Rave" is very different if you compare to the other contestants. "Goth Rave" goes under Techno, Cyberpunk and EBM. "Goth Rave" is out now through

the label Not A Robot Records

 

Les Berrtas is from WÜrzburg, Germany and "Geistertanz" is happy futurepop with high energy. Another artist that release their music by themself.

 

Many German bands and constellations so far but now it is time for a band from the UK in Nature Of Wires and the single "Digital Silence", great dark electro with elements of Darkwave, taken from the album "Digital Silence", that came out back in August. This band has actually done many remixes for artists like Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Sea Of Sin and Laether Strip just to mention some.

 

Last out in my presentation is a band that needs no further introduction, Piston Damp and "To My Knees" The preview is the fantastic extended version.
