HATIF

Up next is the new single from Swedish Hatif, last week I spoked about them and posted one of their latest tracks, and this Friday, November 1, finally the new single "DREAMS ARE ALIVE" came out through the Danish label of Town And Towers. 

My personal feeling and opinion about this is WOW, so good, love the groove in it, and the drums kicks you right in the face, nice production aswell. 

About Hatif: 

Hatif is an electronic music group formed in 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Markus Majdalani and Johan Eckerström. The band is signed with the Nordic synth label, Town And Towers Records. 

In 2022 Hatif released their full-length debut album "Everything Is Repetition", since then several singles, including a remix single in November 2022 with a remix by one of Sweden's most famous electronic/post-punk groups, Agent Side Grinder. 

Hatif have also appeared on several notable dark electronic music compilations, like GIVE TAKE Collective's "This Is Deathpop" from 2022. 

In 2023 Hatif was nominated for the Swedish electronic music award 'Synthsläggen Award'.

The new single from Hatif called "Dreams Are Alive". It is the second single from the bands's forthcoming new album. HATIF is dark, tense electronic music with themes revolving around our time, attempts to reach each other, rebellion and resistance. "Dreams Are Alive" is built on an electronic basis. But, as on many tracks by Hatif, there is also recognizable electronic soundscapes inspired by the Middle East. The lyrics reflects a theme of promises and betrayal.
