KONTRAST

In the beginning of July the German act Kontrast released their album "Proteus", at the same time they released the single "Sekundenlicht" with a clubmix and two other tracks, one of them is a remix by Stationshus on their song "Für Immer Vorbei" and this week that EP´s title track went into the Klangwald Chart as the second new entry on #13, and I can already now predict that this track will go higher on next weeks Klangwald for sure.

Kontrast have been a fixture of the goth scene for 30 years. Since their Everblack hit "Einheitsschritt" (1996), they have enjoyed numerous club successes and chart placements. 

Alongside dark anthems, they have demonstrated emotional depth with ballads like "Freiheit?" and "Für immer vorbei." 

In 2024, they made a triumphant return with the number-one singles "Tanzmaschinen" and "D3R DIKTATOR," as precursors to their album "Imperium."
