METHYL ORANGE

Thursday and vacation time, slow on the blog and with releases but today the new song "Caught in Thought" from the UK based producer Methyl Orange came out. 

Methyl Orange is the project of sonic architect Nick Wall, a (mostly) instrumental electronic artist based in Manchester, UK 

Biography & Pressrelease: 

The music from Methyl Orange is a melodic mix of richly layered, evolving synths and guitars, spanning a wide range of genres and styles, creating immersive cinematic soundscapes and blending modern synthwave and electronica nostalgia. 

Influences are wide-ranging, from early-'70s prog rock and Krautrock — including pioneers such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream — to classic '80s electronica, John Carpenter soundtracks, and countless other artists and sounds, all coming together in the unique sound that is Methyl Orange.

"Caught in Thought" is an epic cinematic soundtrack to an imaginary film, with the tagline “Some places make you stop. Other places never let you go …”
