One of the artists who has written to me is the band Flare Dimension from Linköping, Sweden, they released their debutalbum "Sad Girl, Sad Boy" today on the label Radiation Street Records. 

Flare Dimension is a Swedish synthpop band founded in 2022 by Caroline Wallerman, a songwriter, singer, music producer and former A & R. Together with her partner Jonas Pihlgren, a hardcore techno and exmperimental music producer and founder of the Synthwave recordlabel Rad Rush Records, they started to form and shape Flare Dimension into what you now can hear. 

Pressrelease: 

Debut album "Sad Girl Sad Boy" is described by the band as electronic synthpop with a touch of sadness and hope. Synthpop beeing the foundation, you will also hear clubby beats, trance-like atmospheres, melancolia and hopeful themes. Strong reviews within the synth community, record stores and vinyl collectors. 

In my opinion a really good debutalbum from the duo, and just like the pressrelease saying, electronic synthpop and the maintitle of the album "Sad Girl, Sad Boy" is really hypnotic and contagious, you can´t stop humming the refrain. The album contains both uptempo songs and a synthballads aswell, you can feel the emotions of sadness and hope through all of the album.
