One of the most hyped tracks lately is the track of "SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW" from GOTYE.
Biography:
Wouter "Wally" De Backer (born 21 May 1980), also known professionally by his stage name Gotye is a Belgian-Australian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter. The name "Gotye" is derived from "Gaultier" (or "Gautier" or "Gauthier",) the French equivalent of "Wouter" ("Walter" in English). Gotye's voice has been compared to Sting and Peter Gabriel, some fans even going to the extent of mixing Gotye's vocals with tracks by The Police.
He has released three studio albums independently and one album featuring remixes of tracks from his first two albums. De Backer is also one-third of Melbourne indie-pop trio The Basics, who have independently released three studio albums and numerous other titles since 2002.
"Somebody That I Used to Know" comes from his third studio album Making Mirrors, and features New Zealand singer Kimbra. The song was written by Gotye himself, lyrically about the experiences he has had with relationships. The song was released on 6 July 2011 as the second and lead single off the album.
Now in 2012, a lot of radiostations have picked up the track and when i am out on the gigs i get a lot of requests on the track, the problem is that it´s not a track for the clubs if you play the original.
Our friends from Turkey in ISTANBUL DISCO MAFIA have done an excellent remix that you can play on the clubs if you wanna.
The remix from the guys is a nice and perfect tune for the clubs, not to hard, you still have the feeling of the originaltrack and for me that is important, if you play on a commercial club like I do sometimes you need a track that people can sing along with.
The remix is a FREE DOWNLOAD so grab your copy NOW!!!
