‘Hold a Light’ is Kastra’s debut release through Antiblaze Records after the producer signed to the Australian indie label at the end of last year. This single follows a string of remixes and mashups, one of which charted at number three on Hype Machine. New Jersey born producer and DJ Kastra found his musical awakening at the age of thirteen in loud, heavy tunes and somber beauty. 

Almost ten years later he has turned that passion and discovery of electronica into his own brand of melodic progressive electro. The minimal signature intro of Kastra’s on ‘Hold a Light’ blended with the fragile vocals of Chris Sorbello forces you rise off the couch, put your shoes back on and head out to do it all again. 

Chris Sorbello is an Australian, Brisbane-turned-Sydney girl with an ARIA Australian Singles Chart Top 5 for her track ‘So Lonely' through Ministry of Sound. Her pop sensibilities and pouty performance add the vocal perfection to ‘Hold a Light.’
