Time now for some of the newcomers here in Sweden, first up is the talented ALBIN with KRISTIN AMPARO on vocal, two talented and upcoming artists from our little country.
"DIN SOLDAT" ("Your Soldier" in English) is a great pop/dance/rap track and the vocal of Kristin Amparo is perfect for this track. Last time I heard Kristin was in the fantastic John De Sohn track "DANCE OUR TEARS AWAY" from early 2013.
Albin has play music and rapping for ten years, from the beginning with the groups ”Impulsiv Livsstil” and "Strax". He fell in love with Swedish rap as a child and he began to write his own rap lyrics already as a 10 year old kid with the inspiration of artists / groups like Fatty, Ken Ring, Dr. Dre and Eminem.
In his younger year, the music had an increasing role in Alan's life. He began writing in order to process the loss of his great love who passed away in Dec 2004. Albin believes that his way of dealing with crises and sorrows have always been by writing and thats why it´s a very great importance to the lyrics of his creation.
"Writing lyrics is my way of dealing with various life events. It's my way of remembering and feeling through my music, I want to get more people to remember and feel," says Albin.
In "DIN SOLDAT", like in his other songs, Albib have the text in focus. This time, combined with an up-tempo beat. Right now the track is on #9 at the Swedish saleschart.
