The Him is a music production duo hailing from Amsterdam and creating buzz with their smash hit singles, remixes and bootlegs. After several years of making and playing music for headlining names separately, the two joined forces in 2013 for a Tiesto Remix Contest on Beatport. Following a 2nd place win from over 3,500 submissions, the guys decided then and there to make The Him a full-time project.
Drawing on inspiration from artists like The Magician, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, M83, Empire of the Sun, and The Chemical Brothers. The Him's sound is a crossover between indie, deep house, nu disco and pop -- full of fresh, experimental sounds bound to make you move and wanting more.
Here is their fantastic remix on "FOUR FIVE SECONDS" from Rihanna and Kanye West with the feature of Paul McCartney, a great vocal deephouse remix from them and the Free Download have already gain lots of support and listening since it was released, almost 250 000 listenings and that is a good result, the duo are getting more and more recognition from famous DJ´s.
