PROLETARIAN POETRY

Up next is some political synthmusic from Gothenburg, one of Swedens biggest cities when we talk about Swedish synth. 

Proletarian Poetry is an electronic, political music project based in Gothenburg. Somewhere between #ebm and #synthpop. PP was recreated in 2023 and made its first releases in 2024. The original line-up of PP in the 1990s was based in Jämtland in northern Sweden and involved in local bands such as The Abnormalized. 

We have played most of PP´s music on Electric Cafe since the recreation and tonight Wednesday we gonna play a bit older track after 9 PM, but this a brand new song that you only can listen to via Bandcamp. 

The new single "Panic And Fear" having Ebm bass, synth pop melodies, some metal rattle and a text about one of the most fateful issues of our time - the climate crisis.
