First out today is a albumreview, so let us see how many espressos I give the album "Pop Pain Pleasure" from the duo.
"POP PAIN PLEASURE" is now available digitally, 10 months after the CD release.
The album contains 11 tracks and most of them have already been "dropped".
Francesca E Luigi´s frontfigures are Jessica and Martin.
Jessica have a pretty and gorgeaus voice, and for me definitely the perfect fit for the vocal.
Martin is the brain behind the music, production and the writing.
The album goes in synthwave, italo and syntpop and every track is properly done with a excellent productionf.
I have many favourites here but some of them stands out a little bit more, like "Forget About The Past" and why, well, I like the Kraftwerk inspo with lovely melodies and Jessica´s voice on this song is sooo good. "Brand New Start" is another one I like, you are sitting in your DeLorean on the way to hunt down the sunrise, amazing. "Painting A View" another typical Francesca E Luigi anthem, a vocal that punch you in the face from Jessica and when Martin comes in you get goosbumps, hypnotic and paralyzing melodies. The last of my favourites is the latest release I heard before the album came out digital in "Let Me Be Your Final Choice" a perfect end of a perfect album, mellow masterpiece.
"Pop Pain Pleasure" gets 8 of 10 espressos
