MUZIKMAGAZINET: KLANGWALD CHART WEEK 50

Tuesdays we go through the other list that many artists wanna be on and it is Klangwald Chart.

Last week Cold Connection took over the throne but that was only for one week, we have a new number one this week.

#1 Beborn Beton have taken over number one on Klangwald Chart with "Ticket To The Moon" from the mini album/EP "To The Stars" as one of the new featured songs there and also the follower up to "American Girls". Last week the German band was at number 4 and they are on their fourth week.

#2 Last weeks number one, Cold Connection drops one place to number 2 with "Voices Of The Night" and for me one of the best songs for a while since "Trocadero", my absolute favourites from the Swedish duo of Helsingborg. I really hope for a new album next year and rumours telling that also, so, cross our fingers for that, next week they are gone though, it is their last week on the chart.

#3 Piston Damp drops one place to number 3 with their banger "To My Knees", taken from the album "Mastermind Vol 1:No Points For Trying", absolute one of the best albums lately that has been released.

Let us now check out the newcomers this week on the chart, we have only 3 this week.

#9 Daniel Hall from Emerge1, Sydney Australia goes in as the highest newcomer with his great song "Rush", taken from the album "Apollo" that came out in November. Daniel´s style is mostly Synthwave with nice vocals and melodies, "Rush" is definitely worth the highest newcomer position this week.

#13 Yes, Teacher is the second newcomer on the chart with the synth/retrowave song of "Deine Ernte" or Your Harvest in English. This is a relativ new artist for me and in the beginning of December another new great single came out in "Wo Ist Gott", a more melancholic and softer song, so if you haven´t checked this artist out, I do really think you should.

#14 Scheuber is the last newcomer on number 14 with his "Magenta 2024", nice future pop with a distinct beat, Scheuber is also one of the challengers on German Electronic Web Chart so it will be interesting to see if he manage to get into that list aswell.
