The Canadian Electro band of Encephalon released their new anticipating album "Automaton All Along" today.

Canadian electro-industrial powerhouse Encephalon returns with their most ambitious an immersive release yet, Automaton All Along, available now via Artoffact Records. This concept album is a deep dive into the intersection of artificial intelligence and human identity, weaving a gripping narrative through pulsating beats, cinematic synth textures, and raw,evocative lyricism. 

Formed in Ottawa in the mid-2000s, Encephalon—comprising Matt Gifford (vocals, programming) and Sam Mainer (keyboards, live drums), has become a defining force in the global industrial music scene. Their genre-blurring sound fuses elements of dark electro, synthpop, and cyberpunk aesthetics, earning them a devoted following. Since their breakthrough debut, The Transhuman Condition (2011), and subsequent critically acclaimed albums Psychogenesis (2015) and Echoes (2021), Encephalon has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic music, exploring themes of technology, identity, and existential dread.
