MAD MISSION

Welcome to todays blog and today we start up with a project called Mad Mission. 

Mad Mission comes from the same city that I belong to, Helsingborg in Sweden, we are known all over the world because of some of the Worlds most prominent synth/EBM acts in Covenant. 

Helsingborg is a core with many great artists, beside Covenant, we have Cold Connection, Engraved Garden, Luna Square, and more, and now also, MAD MISSION, and that is just some of our great musicians here. 

I have spend a lot of times listening through the album and for me, well, I say the same as many reviewers, amazing with massive melodies, vocals and feelings. I have found some favourites tunes like "Feel", "Accusation" and "Time" but almost every track on the album is unique, that is something I like, you can feel the line all through the album.

Biography: 

Mad Mission is the synth-driven project of lifelong friends Robert Johnsson and Fredrik Forssell from Helsingborg, Sweden. Inspired by Depeche Mode, New Order, Kite and Muse, they blend dark electronic pop with alternative rock. 

Their debut album, Into Orbit came out WORLDWIDE on 31:th July 2026, and the album explores humanity through ten songs moving from anxiety and illusion to hope and truth. 

Mad Mission has received glowing reviews from virtually all the major synth/music blogs out there like, Side Line Magazine, Synthpop Fanatic and FAN in both South Africa and US, just to mention some. 

The story of Mad Mission began back in the 80s, driven by a shared passion for electronic music and melodies that resonate deeply. 

Life took them in different directions for a time, yet the desire to make music remained constant. 

After decades of songwriting, experimentation, and refining their sound, they reunited with a clear vision: to create music that feels honest, cinematic, and timeless—rooted in the sounds they loved in the 80s. 

Now, their debut album is here. 

About the album: 

The album *Into Orbit* is a collection of reflections on humanity, viewed from a slightly different perspective. It features ten songs that move from anxiety to hope, from illusion to truth, from the individual to the collective; this is the beginning of a journey, and you are invited.
