IAMTHESHADOW

IAMTHESHADOW is back with a new amazing single in "Bending Time" and this is one of my favourite tracks from last weeks New Synthmusic Friday, the hype between haunting darkwave and post punk comes like slap on your mouth, a "käftsmäll" as we say in Sweden, banger deluxe. The sad part of is that the track is to short, I could easy listening to it a couple of minutes more, so what to do? well, repeat it.

"Bending Time" is OUT NOW through Cold Transmission.

IAMTHESHADOW is a musical project that began in 2015 by the Portuguese musician Pedro Code (The Dream Collision and Rainy Days Factory). The artistic influences of IAMTHESHADOW are varied and navigate the blackest and sharpest sounds of the 80s.

IAMTHESHADOW is modern dark romance, where melody and words touch deeply perpetuating the desire that crosses and overcomes fear.

Pressrelease:

“Bending Time” is a song about the feeling of watching time slip through our hands, trying to hold on to moments that are already fading, and learning to accept that nothing stays with us forever.

IAMTHESHADOW turn these intimate thoughts into a deeply powerful and melancholic reflection on life, loss, and the quiet beauty of letting go.
