RETROGRATH

Hi everyone, time to talk about music again. I’ve had to lay low for a while because Facebook, among other things, has been giving me a hard time and messing with me. Not only did they delete my old account, but they’ve also blocked me from—for instance—buying things on their Marketplace; so, in my eyes, Facebook is a damn joke, though unfortunately, they are important for promoting your music and the blog. 

But now, let’s talk about what this blog is all about: synth music in all it´s forms. 

One of many talented Swedish artists out there is Retrograth, so let us do a shoutout for him.

Pressrelease: 

The swedish DIY postpunk/dark electro act Retrograth presents the new single “Dada Supremacy”. Inspired by the Dada movement and its rejection of a world built on logic and order, the track asks whether Dada’s ideas might be relevant once again in today’s increasingly chaotic world. 

The sounds on the track are based on vocal samples. It was recorded at Studio Gothland in Stockholm and follows more than 100 live shows across Japan, North America, Europe and South America. 

The single will be released publicly on September 19, followed by the EP Articulation in October and first show in UK, nov 5 in Sheffield och 6 i Bradford.

Often compared to early Human League, Nine Inch Nails and Boy Harsher. Known for an energetic live performance with a theremin synth controller on stage and a dark distinct coroner voice, special for the genre."
