It is not often we getting a ballad in our genre but the new upcoming track "Winter Stores" from Platronic drops next week on Friday 13th December.

About Platronic: 

PLATRONiC synthfully elegant futurepop. 

Founded in 2020 by singer/lyricist/melodist Kay Burden (Frankfurt a. M.) and composer/producer Some-E from Savonlinna. When German melancholy met Finnish happiness... “It wasn’t planned, but suddenly we realised we had found our musical soulmates.” Since then a lot has happened to this distinctive duo heavily influenced by ABBA, Depeche Mode and VNV Nation.. 

PLATRONiC opened for the Swedish synth-rock band PRIEST in Helsinki, was nominated as "Best Electro Act" by Radio Wigwam (UK) and made it several times into the Top 10 of the German Alternative Charts and the German Electro Web Charts. 

"MEMORIES" was chosen as one of the "TOP 100 best synthpop songs 2023" by Synthpop Fanatic (US). 2024 "Calling - Mitten in der Nacht" (feat. Tamás) was added onto an official Spotify Suomi playlist! Finally.

PLATRONiC new, elegant and dark blue ballad "Winter Stores" is based on a powerful poem by Charlotte Brontë - one of the most celebrated Victorian writers of her time. 

It's about hope and resilience. It reminds us that even in the bleakest of winters, there is still beauty and life to be found, and that love and relationships are what give life its true meaning and value.

Melodist/singer Kay has captured the melancholic mood of the poem into a strong yet fragile, velvet like tune and Sami framed it with composing a hauntingly beautiful piano ballad.
