PURE OBSESSIONS & RED NIGHTS

We are into the last day of this week and first up today is another album review, this time from Pure Obsessions & Red Nights and their new album "Nightbreed" that dropped on December 6.

"Nightbreed" is their 13th album if you includes remix albums and the sound is mostly in synthpop with channels of dark and coldwave.

The album contains 9 tracks and the first song "When Memories Do Call" put the album directly on the right track of what we love with them. It continues with another great song in "Where The Shadows Dance" to be more dark and the first instrumental track on the album with smooth techno and ravish stabs on "Ours Is The Night" I also feel a bit DM over that track. "Lust For Night", "A Little Love" and "She Dreams In Black, Second Night" is more into darkwave/coldwave. "Sundown Remedy" is another instrumental with a more emotionally sound to end with a bang. "Ghostly Queen" and "All Will Be Revealed" is the perfect end of the album, with great vocal and melodies.

My favourite songs is "When Memories Do Call" and the instrumental "Sundown Remedy" two different but two songs that really showing how the album sounds in a quick way and explanation. "Nightbreed" gets 7 of 10 espressos
