About Second Complex: 

Second Complex is a solo project by Dan Beck known from the Danish electronic act, Vaylon. His Second Complex solo project started up in 2021 during Covid. The music is inspired by the 80's synthpop and dark wave genre. Dan works with different vocalists from the electronic music scene for his Second Complex songs. Great names like Brian Hazard from Color Theory, Brian Belknap from BlakLight and Mind Machine, Daniel Hall, and Neil Francis - and of course Ole Ulrich Jensen from Vaylon. And let's just say, we have some more amazing surprises coming up for you - and a full album.

By the way, when you mention Vaylon, no further introduction is needed for most synth loving people... Vaylon is one of Scandinavia's most remarkable and well known synthpop and dark wave bands during the last 10 years! In Vaylon, Dan Beck's partner in crime is Ole Ulrich Jensen. The band is strongly inspired by the 80's electronic music scene, and have been part of the Scandinavian synth scene through the last decade, and they have a huge discography behind them. 

About Color Theory: 

Color Theory aka Brian Hazard is one of the electronic music scenes most notable musicians. A famous Los Angeles songwriter and producer who has gained more than 15 million plays across streaming platforms with his own distinctive melancholic synthpop. He found great success after his track "Ponytail Girl" was widely shared and being mistaken for a lost Depeche Mode single B-side. He has also found his sometimes quirky nostalgic songs being placed in popular video games (Just Dance, Rock Band) and TV shows (MTV's The Real World). He also won the grand prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest back in 2009.

Town And Towers Records are super proud to present the second new single in 2024 from Second Complex featuring Color Theory. 'The Curve' is a favorite of the four tracks which Color Theory's Brian Hazard did the vocals on for the up-coming Second Complex album. An album, that will be out in the Springtime in 2025. Fans will love the classic synth sounds from the 2000's area, which will lead your memory towards German bands like DE/VISION and Wolfsheim. 

The track is yet another follow-up on a strong, long lasting friendship and music collaboration between Dan Beck from Second Complex and Brian Hazard from Color Theory.
