BLACKBOOK vs RUINED CONFLICT

We are getting close to a new fabolus weekend, also in many parts, HALLOWEEN weekend. 

I´m looking forward to see what releases comes out on Friday. But before Friday, time to go through some of this Fridays releases and first up is Blackbook with a new single and a new remix from Ruined Conflict in "Suffer In Silence" 

Right now on Klangwald with their former single "Different" they have climbed up to number 8 with the FrozenPlasma remix. 

BLACKBOOK is a Swiss-Dutch synth-pop and darkwave duo known for their nostalgic yet modern electronic music, as well as for the fact that the members wear masks to keep their identities secret. Behind these masks, however, are two established musicians and producers: Albert Den Dekker and Matthias Kräutli. 

Before founding BLACKBOOK in Winterthur in 2018, both members achieved significant success in other projects; one of them is behind several of the most-played radio songs in Switzerland, as well as the theme song for a successful international Netflix series. 

The band’s music is often described as a blend of 80s new wave, electropop, and modern dark synth-pop/futurepop. They draw significant inspiration from genre giants like Depeche Mode, while incorporating elements of indie pop and EDM. Their soundscape oscillates between danceable, neon-glittering beats and melancholic, emotive atmospheres. 

Ruined Conflict is an American electronic music project within the futurepop, synthpop, and EBM genres, formed in 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio. The band was created by composer and vocalist Xavier Morales together with music producer Eric Holzer. At that time, both members already had over ten years of experience producing electronic music in their hometown.
