Up next is music from Deflexity, the mastermind behind Twin Rattler has created one of the weirdest and most peculiar contrasts of the year so far in my opinion. 

"Caramelldansen" and the original came out 2001 with the constellation of Caramella Girls or Caramell. 

It became an Internet meme in the mid-2000s after a sped-up version of the song was attached to a video loop from the Japanese visual novel Popotan, which went viral. This version of the song was officially released in 2006 in Sweden and Japan as "U-u-uma uma", the latter of which charted on Oricon. A virtual group called Caramella Girls was launched to promote the song, renditions in other languages, and other cover songs and original songs. This is long before AI fucked up the musicscene, if you compare the original to todays similar songs, that is AI all the way.

Deflexity returns with a new release, taking on the infectious dance-pop hit “Caramelldansen” and transforming it through a dark, atmospheric witch house lens. 

The shadowy alter ego of Denis Frolov, also known for his high-octane electronic project Twin Rattler, Deflexity ventures deeper into the murkier reaches of the electronic underground. Glitch-laden lo-fi textures collide with heavy electronic rhythms, distorted atmospheres and ethereal witch house influences, giving the familiar track a completely different character. 

This is a really good version and I can imagine that Vasco & Millboy, the producers behind the original are quite pleased with this version.
